The Meals at Bank End House

We source as many of our products as locally as possible, including home grown vegetables, locally farmed (next door) and butchered meats and free range eggs.  Drinks are fair trade and all breads and bakes are home made daily.  David is a vegetarian but Jackie, having once been a Home Economist, enjoys preparing and cooking all foods (and eating them!).

Breakfast Menu

Bank End House
  • Fruit juice
  • Cereals, fruit compote or fresh fruit salad and home made yoghurt
  • Bacon, sausages, egg (fried or scrambled), tomatoes, black pudding, fried bread, hash browns.
  • Smoked Salmon
  • Toast
  • Tea or ground coffee

Continental Breakfast

  • Muesli
  • Slices of ham and cheese
  • Home made bread rolls
  • Preserves
  • Fresh fruit
  • Croissants

For evening meals, there is a good variety of pubs and restaurants in Appleby or nearby villages.

We can provide an evening meal at Bank End House by arrangement of two or three courses.
