
We source as many of our products as locally as possible, including home grown vegetables, locally farmed (next door) and butchered meats and free range eggs. Drinks are fair trade and all breads and bakes are home made daily. David is a vegetarian but Jackie, having once been a Home Economist, enjoys preparing and cooking all foods (and eating them!).
For evening meals, there is a good variety of pubs and restaurants in Appleby or nearby villages.
We can provide an evening meal at Bank End House by arrangement of two or three courses.
